Wysocki helped to establish Staind in 1995 alongside artist Aaron Lewis, guitarist Mike Mushok, and bassist Johnny April. Their most memorable studio collection, Tortured, showed up in 1997. Staind's true Instagram account likewise presented a recognition of the band's previous drummer, expressing: "We initially met Jon through common companions in 1994. We met up with Mike, Aaron, and Johnny April in 1995 and established Staind.

 The 17 years that followed were the absolute best recollections of our times together. From training in Ludlow, Mass to visiting all over the planet, Jon was essential to our identity as a band. Our hearts go out to Jon's family, and fans all over the planet who cherished him."

After Staind, Wysocki had a short stretch with individual nü-metal stalwarts, Soil. However, he never recorded a collection with the "Corona" band. "Today we lost one of the greats," the band composed via online entertainment.

 "Jon Wysocki was an incredible companion, an extraordinary drummer, yet an extraordinary person. It was a distinction to have him in SOiL for the time we did. We had such countless snickers, such countless great times."

He joined the Nashville bunch Lydia's Palace in 2021, with which he played until his demise. The band likewise shared a progression of photographs of Wysocki with the band and fans on their Instagram account.
