JAMESTOWN - The Fellow Vikings fought their direction to one more win on Thursday night.

The fourth-cultivated Fellow crushed the No. 5 Des Lacs-Burlington-Lewis and Clark Lakers 9-6 in the Class B softball state competition quarterfinals at Lyle "Catcher" Lawrence Field.

The fellow has begun to make a propensity for returning in games. The Vikings invest wholeheartedly in their versatility.

Brandt credited the group's senior initiative for setting a genuine model and proceeding to urge the group to continue to push forward.

"We simply have such a lot of trust in ourselves and we have no trepidation," said Fellow's Elyanna Schmitz. "We have been buckling down this season that we understand what to do and we can make it happen."

The Vikings scored in five of the seven innings and outhit the DLBLC 11-4.

Tied at 6-6 in the 6th inning, Fellow's Mackenzie Fuxa began with a twofold to left field and Jansen Jordheim followed with a solitary. Peyton Gette — who kindness ran for Fuxa — scored on an RBI groundout by Avery Amerman and Schmitz drove in one more sprinter on an infield single.

The Lakers replied with two runs in the fourth inning. Flautist Feller singled to score Mya Neshem and Logen Ystaas had an RBI twofold. DLBLC followed 5-4.

Once more, the Vikings replied in the lower part of the casing with Fuxa barrelling an RBI single to make it 6-4Fellow's Johnson was 3-for-4 with an RBI. Danica Rath worked each of the seven innings, conceding one procured run on four hits and striking out five. The Lakers' Ystaas wrapped up with two hits. Bjerklie and Feller both went 1-for-3 with an RBI. Sierra Yale permitted five procured runs on 11 hits and struck out eight through six innings in the circle.

Fellow plays Velva-Drake-Anamoose in the second elimination round matchup that will start 35 minutes after the principal elimination round game. The Lakers go head to head against top-cultivated MayPort-CG in the reassurance elimination rounds 35 minutes after the principal encouragement elimination round.
